A math odyssey
Hello, faithful readers. The circumstances that caused me to put the blog on hold last week have eased, so here I am again. I’m still having a crisis of confidence in my ability to continue this project, but hopefully that can be resolved, as well.
Today I worked for a short time on some past American Mathematics Competition problems. I also thought for a while about how to prove Notion 3 from my post Fun With Logarithms, since I’d used it while solving one of the AMC problems.
Welcome back, Olly! Your faithful readers understand that sometimes you can’t be here, but your faithful readers think of you and care for you and miss you when you’re not here.
(OK, I can only speak for myself, but only a faithless reader would disagree.)
I’m delighted that you’re thinking about Notion 3. It might be deeper and more central than you think at first glance, so thinking about it is way, way cool. Harass me if I don’t send you an email about it in the next couple of days. And again, welcome back from this FR.
Agreed! It’s lovely when you can make this blog a thing, but we also understand when it can’t be.
